I would give anything to hear you sing this at the piano right now. To see your hair cascading over your intensely furrowed brow, and purposeful fingers. The way you played and sang this song was like a modern dance, to watch you, was sublime. I miss you, and your soulful feeling self.

yes, this song is close to my heart too. I tried to play it at the CD release, but I had to use my guitar (not a piano), and I sang it as an encore (out of context), and it just didn't have the same soul it's supposed to. I wished I'd chosen something else for the encore and kept secret the sacredness of this song.
it's not on the CD, or anywhere. Maybe someday... maybe someday...
